It refutes the unbiblical Christian idea about salvation that Muslims and atheists will burn in Hellfire. Jesus peace be upon him said: I am sent ONLY to the lost sheep of house of Israel, while Islam consistently claims universal mission in Quran 48:13 3:85 7:158 25:1
حضرت عمر – رضي الله تعالى عنه – کا گزر ایک راہب خانے سے ہوا اور وہ وہاں رک گئے، راہب کو بتایا گیا کہ امیر المومنین تشریف لائے ہوئے ہیں، اس پر اس نے اپنی خانقاہ سے جھانک کر دیکھا، تو اس کے چہرے پر مشقت، مجاہدے اور رہبانیت کے گہرے بادل چھائے ہوئے تھے، امیر المومنین حضرت عمر – رضي الله تعالى عنه – نے جب اس کی یہ حالت دیکھی تو آبدیدہ ہو گئے، لوگوں نے تعجب سے عرض کیا: “کہ یہ نصرانی ہے"، فاروق اعظم نے فرمایا: ہاں مجھے یہ معلوم ہے، لیکن مجھے اللہ تعالی کا فرمان یاد آ گیا: وجوه يومئذ خاشعة عاملة ناصبة تصلى نارا حامية تسقى من عين آنية(سورة الغاشية) ترجمہ: بہت سے چہرے اس دن اترے ہوئے ہوں گے، مصیبت جھیلتے ہوئے، تھکن سے چور، وہ دہکتی ہوئی آگ میں داخل ہوں گے، انہیں کھولتے ہوئے چشمے سے پانی پلایا جائے گا۔۱ مجھے اللہ کا یہ فرمایا یاد آگیا اور میرا دل اس پر پسیچ گیا کہ اتنی مشقت اور تھکن کے باوجود آگ کا ایندھن بنے گا ۲ ۱: آسان ترجمہ قرآن، از مفتی تقی عثمانی صاحب ۲: تفسير عبد الرزاق، سورة الغاشية، المستكر على الحاكم، كتاب التفسير، سورة الغاشية، وقال الإمام الذهبي على هذه الرواية: “الجوني لم يدرك عمر لكنها حكاية في موضعها"
Tafsir Ibn Abbas tells us the same about Khawarij takfiri extremists and Ruhban(anchorites or asexual extremists) in Tafsir of Ayah 104 of Surah Al-Kahf.
Sayyidunaa ‘Umar Weeps Over the Exertion of a Christian Monk
Aboo `Imraan Jowni narrates that ‘Umar , radiAllaahu ‘anhu (may Allaah be pleased with him), once passed by a monk and remained standing there. Someone called the monk and told him that the Ameeru`l-Mu`mineen (Leader of the Faithful) was there. When the monk peeped out, the effects of difficulty, exertion and forsaking the world were clearly apparent on his face . Looking at him, ‘Umar, radiAllaahu ‘anhu, began to weep. “But he is a Christian”, someone commented. ‘Umar, radiAllaahu ‘anhu, replied “I know, but I feel sorry for him becasue I thought of the Verse in which Allaah mentions… :
عَامِلَةٌۭ نَّاصِبَةٌۭ
تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةًۭ
“‘Aamilatu`n-naasibah. Taslaa naaran haamiyah.”
“He who suffered affliction and who endured many difficulties (thinking that he was pleasing Allaah whereas his beliefs and actions did not conform with the injunctions of Allaah); he shall enter the blazing fire.” [Soorat al-Ghaashiyah (088:003-004)]
“… I feel sorry for him because despite his exertion and efforts in this world, he shall still end up in Jahannam (Hell).”
