    Indian Muslims are like Catholics. Pakistani Muslims are like Protestants. Bengali Muslims are like Mormons.

However, reformed Catholics following prima scriptura approach like reformed Sufis ( like Shah Waliullah and Ahmad Sirhindi) will be preferable for modern outreach.

    Ishmael Abraham Indian Muslim evangelicals are compromising and people pleasing to the extent of being self defeating. They should learn assertiveness from their cousins.

    When you value a meek faithful, you are worshiping God and when you value a celebrity theologian you are worshiping a personality cult.

    Bhutto could be more effective leader if he preferred logical debate over polemic. But one cannot be popular in subcontinent without polemic.
